I don't believe in the "link popularity" philosophy, but I just wanted to share these. Spend a few minutes just exploring these other places. They will be worth it.
MASSIVE HEAD TRAUMA. G-shama-shama. A kindred spirit who usually alternates between sympathy and amusement at the events in the life of the Miyaw. Terrific writer. Razor-sharp analyst. Frighteningly intelligent.
CHRONICLES OF A SOCIOPATH. She's not really a sociopath, but she's my cousin, so she comes close to that description. Marvel at how she twists her brain inside out as part of her psychology training.
SYNESTHETIQUE. The dear rei's entries contain some of the most poignant resonances I've read about home and life and Important Things (or their lack). Also, she has excellent taste in poetry.
WASHED SINS. Ze Emily the Strange-like cousin with the crystal-clear voice and emotional writing, who can make even the most ordinary things sound interesting (either fun or horrible, but at least...).
<thought/>. Ze geek cousin, of the technical persuasion. Geeks rule.. And one day they will take over the world, if ever they can tear themselves away from programming/gaming enough to do it.
INTERMITTENT RAMBLINGS. Zoe of the uncommon wit. Science geek and budding apologist and insightful writer and crafty girl, who is, like me, familiar with the science-or-art dilemma.
CRAY SUPERCOMPUTERS Z5200 OD-R VARIANT. Intense, bladed, dark, profound, manic, wry, honest, conflicted, thoughtful, violent, gentle, poignant. CrayZ's writing is all this and more. His words sear themselves into your brain.
QUIET RIVERS. Ree, who found me I don't know how (but I'm glad he did). I don't know him very well, but already his writing takes my breath away. The poetry is so beautiful it can make my soul weep.
EUPHORBIA. G's writing, lush and complex and addictive. She's a very good writer, have I mentioned that yet? I really and truly enjoy the (now-rare) times we write together.
ZERO. "Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing"? Well, maybe, if you call writing that is real and articulate (yay, she writes poetry about science!), 'nothing.' I don't.
LIFELIBRARIES. Maia is a gifted artist whose creations, whether they be well-crafted images or rich prose, resonate deeply in you. My first host and a fellow Christian.
ALITHEIA. Brina, who is so very, very beautiful -- and her words, as do all her creations, reflect that. Her poetry is moving, graceful, and above all, full of truth.
LOVE. Kacey's journal simply shines with a rare idealism and hope, from her musings to her questions on life to her singular, thoughtful poems.
OBLATION. Oblation refers to a complete sacrifice and giving up of self -- which Katie's journal embodies so well in its meaningful, well-written entries.
MENDING MY BROKEN WINGS. The livejournal of my adopted "bebe," who is one of the few people that have made getting into RO worth it -- just for the joy of being their friend.
SCHLEPPEL. Finlandian Heli, whose delvings into languages look so fun I almost envy her. Entries are a mix of (fan?)fiction, observations, and atypical teenage philosophizing.
DEEP BLUE. Another good writer (overwhelm with talent, why don't you) who does mostly contemporary fantasy and anime/manga fanfiction. Always an enjoyable read.
LEG ROOM. Samantha's writing journal -- a unique voice, a different kind of perspective, mature writing. The way she wields words is masterful.
